vote2The LIBERTYVILLE TOWNSHIP DEMOCRATS is a grassroots organization working together for over a decade. We have worked with our local, statewide and national Democratic candidates spreading their messages to our residents. We seek to accomplish the following:

  1. Assist and support efforts to elect Democratic candidates at the local, state & national levels
  2. Coordinate campaign and other election efforts with other Democratic organizations
  3. Recruit & train new precinct committeemen/women
  4. Organize township-wide Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts during state/federal elections
  5. Build an effective and responsive organization to facilitate these primary goals and objectives

Annual dues for membership in the LIBERTYVILLE TOWNSHIP DEMOCRATS is a minimum donation of $10.  Your dues help offset costs associated with maintaining a website, printing and distributing literature, signage, booths/parade fees, Get Out the Vote efforts and more.

We need your support!  While we ask for a minimum donation of $10.00 as dues, a more generous contribution is encouraged. Many township residents don’t have the time to become more active but can support our efforts through their contributions. Small amounts add up! So please consider giving more than the minimum.

Interested in becoming a Precinct Committeeman/Committeewoman?

A precinct committeeman/committeewoman is a Democratic Party official at the local level. They are on the front lines in elections, invited to special events with candidates and absolutely essential to winning elections.

The job of committeepersons is simple: Find Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters, get them registered to vote and get them to the polls on election day. The office of the precinct committeeperson is the most important position in the entire Democratic Party!

They can be the most effective people in their area to get out the vote for Democratic candidates. People are more likely to trust a neighbor – even one they don’t know – to give them useful information about candidates and the voting process. Use our contact form to get more information.
